Self-vulcanizing tape TERMOFOL – for insulating connections of heating foil
Self-vulcanizing tape TERMOFOL is designed for insulating and securing electrical connections in heating foil systems. It is primarily used to secure the connections of power cables and connectors, as well as the ends of copper rails of heating foil.
Unlike conventional insulating tape, the material, when pressed, fuses itself, creating a uniform, flexible, and waterproof layer. This allows for precise coverage of conductive elements and ensures proper electrical and mechanical insulation of the connection.
An important element in the installation of heating foil
The tape is applied to clean, dry, and degreased surfaces. Appropriately selected pieces should be pressed together tightly so that they completely cover the secured area without leaving gaps. The self-vulcanization process begins after the layers are joined and pressed together.
Main advantages
- designed for insulating connections of heating foils and wires,
- secures connectors and conductive elements,
- creates a uniform and tight insulating layer,
- self-vulcanizing properties – the material fuses itself,
- provides electrical and mechanical insulation,
- creates flexible and waterproof protection,
- does not require additional adhesive,
- can be cut to the appropriate piece depending on the connection being made.
Self-vulcanizing tape TERMOFOL is one of the basic installation materials for heating foils – it allows for proper securing of electrical connections and ends of the foil before laying subsequent layers of flooring.
