XPS TERMOFOL construction-insulation board – for underfloor heating, tiles, and constructions

XPS TERMOFOL construction board is a universal material for thermal insulation, construction and finishing works, and installation of electric underfloor heating. The core made of extruded polystyrene XPS is covered on both sides with a mineral layer reinforced with a fiberglass mesh. This makes the board combine low weight and ease of processing with moisture resistance and high mechanical strength.

Better insulation under underfloor heating

The XPS board is excellent as a layer under heating mats and cables. It reduces heat loss towards the substrate and improves directional energy transfer upwards, which promotes faster floor heating and increases the efficiency of the underfloor heating system.

This is particularly practical during renovations when we want to improve the substrate's insulation without creating extensive floor layers.

Not only for heating – a universal construction board

XPS TERMOFOL can also be used as a construction and finishing material. The boards are suitable for leveling walls and floors, preparing surfaces for tiles, and making lightweight constructions and enclosures. They can be used in bathrooms, shower cabins, kitchens, laundries, and other areas exposed to moisture.

Depending on the chosen thickness, they can be used for enclosing bathtubs and installation risers, making shelves, platforms, and lightweight partition walls.

Different thicknesses – different application possibilities

Thinner boards are primarily suitable for underfloor heating, leveling surfaces, and where height reduction of the layers is important. Thicker variants provide greater rigidity and good insulation, so they can also be used for platforms, lightweight walls, and other enclosures.

They provide a stable substrate, among others, for ceramic tiles, and due to various thickness options, they can be used for insulating, leveling, and building surfaces as well as creating structural and finishing elements.
