TERMOFOL Vapor Barrier Film is a durable protective layer designed for vapor-tight and moisture-proof insulation. In electric underfloor heating systems with heating film, it is an important element protecting the installation from moisture impact.

The film features high vapor-tightness, tear and crack resistance, creating a lasting protective layer under the floor. It can be used not only in systems with heating film but also as a moisture barrier under floors, screeds, and overlays.

An important element of the heating film system

When installing TERMOFOL underfloor heating, the vapor barrier film is laid over the heating film, directly before the installation of the floating floor. It creates a separating layer that protects the heating system from moisture that may penetrate from the room side.

Internal application

TERMOFOL vapor barrier film is used for creating vapor-tight and moisture-proof insulation in underfloor heating systems with TERMOFOL heating film – it is laid over the heating film, directly before installing the floating floor. It can also be used as a moisture barrier layer under floors, screeds, and casts.
